During Connect Me’s March MLM (Monthly Leadership Meeting), it was announced that Hasini Anand would be Connect Me’s Season 7 President, as well as the newest BOD (Board of Directors) member! This is a remarkable, well-deserved feat that did not happen overnight; let’s look back at Hasini’s incredible journey through Connect Me.
Hasini joined Connect Me in the spring of 2022, during the nonprofit’s second season, as an eighth grader. Immediately taking on leadership roles, she was not only a tutor but also a member of Connect Me’s Advertising Department. Just months later in Season 3, she became the Director of Advertising.
Hasini’s hard work boasted consistent results within her department, leading to overall success within the leadership team. By Season 4, she became Connect Me’s Secretary and was scoring “Above Average” on evaluations.
She continued to climb the ropes within Connect Me, becoming Vice President in Season 5. On the first day of the season, she spoke to ABC 12 about Connect Me’s purpose as a nonprofit, alongside Ritvik Ellendula, Connect Me’s President at the time. By the time Season 6 rolled around, Hasini had gone through fifteen evaluations and was finally Connect Me’s President!
Hasini has continued to show her dedication and commitment to Connect Me and its mission through her hard work and continuous leadership throughout the nonprofit. As the new season begins and Hasini takes on an additional role, the successes will only continue to accumulate under her guidance.
