At Connect Me, our tutors tend to share one major characteristic in common. This trait is a deep passion for helping students learn and grow. When asked about their favorite tutoring experience, one tutor shared that it’s “being able to help the people who truly need it.” This satisfactory feeling of making a difference, even in small ways, has motivated tutors to continue to show up week after week. Despite the rigor and academic stress that comes along with the daily life of our high school tutors, many persist and find comfort in seeing progress in their students.

This development ranged from ideas of Connect Me expanding its reach to even more people, while another emphasized the importance of improving the onboarding process for new tutors. A wide variety of ideas and communication has built a foundation pushed to strive for improvement.
