The rise of technology gives students in this generation a great advantage. More tech companies have created tools for students that help them succeed academically. Why not use that to improve your academic performance as well?

In this article, we’ll go over the top 4 tech tools for students like you. Who knows? These tools might be what you need to get from a B to an A.

Top 4 Tech Tools for Students

  • Kahoot

Kahoot is a popular platform that utilizes games and fun, interactive quizzes you can take about any topic. Most of the time, you will need to make these quizzes yourself but, this is an incredibly useful tool.

Some quizzes are readily available because a lot of users may have previously created a few and allowed them to be shared publicly. Kahoot quizzes can be made in 17 different languages.

    • Canva

Canva is a user-friendly online design tool that you can use to create anything from PowerPoint presentations and slideshows to posters or infographics. If you have an art project or a presentation coming up, you can use Canva.

It has both a free version and a paid version. The free version will have limited access to certain graphics and features such as photo effects but, it already provides an incredibly comprehensive and easy-to-use platform for you to create professional media. Should you want to try out the pro version, you can always avail of their free trial.

      • Quizlet

Quizlet is an online platform that is fairly similar to Kahoot; however, it differs because Quizlet is home to digital flashcards. If you study best with flashcards, this might be the platform you need to use.

Some flashcards are readily available through other users but, you can make your own based on whatever material you have. The flashcards you make can then be turned into quizzes or interactive games if you learn best that way. Quizlet does have a paid version with more access to a lot of things.

        • Desmos

Desmos is a tool for students taking math classes. You can access their graphing or scientific calculator for free so you can better understand mathematical formulas, different concepts, and the like.

Desmos is a great tool that both teachers and students use. It has tons of different features; although, it is quite limited in what you can learn from it.

          The Takeaway

Technology doesn’t have to be something scary. It also doesn’t have to overcome humans. It can actually be quite helpful if you use it as a tool and to your advantage.
