Studying is one of the most important yet hardest aspects of being a student. Finding the motivation to study can be tough, but with these tools, it can become second nature.
1: Make Studying a Part of Your Daily Routine
Most students have daily routines that ensure their day runs smoothly. Consider adding studying into that routine. Even if it is just for one or two hours, adding studying into your schedule will allow you to do it with ease over time. If needed, you can add more time to your original baseline studying time.
2: Create a Dedicated Workspace
Have a clean space to complete your work at. Whether it is your room or your kitchen table, working in a clean space allows your mind to minimize outside distractions and focus solely on your work. Have this area be the main place you do work as it will signal to yourself that it is time to study.
3: Study With a Partner or a Group
Collaborate with classmates or even a sibling. Having people around you that also need to do work allows you to keep each other accountable. Having snacks as incentives can also keep everyone motivated to keep studying.
By implementing these techniques, studying outside of school can not only become easier, but a fun experience overall!
