Connect Me’s five departments focus on handling specific pieces of the organization’s infrastructure to ensure that Connect Me succeeds in achieving its mission of supporting the community through free tutoring and mentoring. Each board member below dedicates an exceptional amount of time and effort to fulfill their essential role in the organization.

Operations

Efficiency and organization are the hallmarks of our Operations Department. From managing schedules to streamlining processes, this team ensures that Connect Me runs smoothly, maximizing our impact on the community we serve.

Brooke Quintana

Chair

Brooke Quintana is a senior at Steinbrenner High School. She joined Connect Me her sophomore year and has been tutoring the same student for two years. She had found a love for tutoring after watching her student grow academically and graduating middle school. She has a passion for aerospace engineering and has interned for NASA. She is the captain of the robotics team and the president of the Science National Honor Society at her school and joined both clubs her sophomore year. In her free time, she enjoys coding, playing tennis, and getting coffee with her friends.

Patricia Sun

Deputy Chair

Patricia Sun is a senior at Dunlap High School. Outside of Connect Me, she is involved in the swim team, FBLA, and Speech and Debate. In her free time, she likes to figure skate and make bracelets.

Joshveer Grewal

Team Member

Josh Grewal is a junior at Northville High School. He joined Connect Me due to his passion for teaching others and helping them grow academically. Along with enjoying math and science, Josh runs cross country and track and is an event leader for Science Olympiad. Outside of school, he spends time with friends and family and enjoys creating new things.

Ritvik Ellendula

Ritvik Ellendula is a junior at Northville High School. Outside of Connect Me, he loves to run Cross Country with the Northville High School team, and he enjoys playing pick-up basketball with his friends at the local park. In the future, he wants to combine his passion for medicine, technology, and business to open a biotechnology startup.

Leo Shi is a junior at Mayfield High School. Outside of Connect Me, he enjoys writing, reading and debate.

Yulianna Kowalczyk is a senior at Churchill High School and has been a part of Connect Me since February. She enjoys playing tennis, dancing, and baking. Yulianna loves being a part of this organization and wants to go to medical school in the future!

Nivedita Ravi

Admissions Officer

Nivedita Ravi is a senior at Dunlap High School. She joined Connect Me in order to help children and revolutionize the field of education, especially after the pandemic. In the future, she plans to pursue a career in Management or Finance, and hopes to harmonize the two fields together!

Ayah Al-Omar

Ayah Al-Omar is a graduated senior from Morgantown High School. She enjoys going on runs/walks, painting and reading.

Yahav is a junior at Brooklyn Technical High School. He is involved in scientific research and Science Olympiad. Outside of his academics, he enjoys playing video games and traveling. He has a strong passion for education and ensuring its access for every student.

James Zhou

Team Member

James Zhou is a rising senior at Vernon Hills High School. He loves to paint, swim, and hangout with friends and family. He is involved in NHS, student council, and nonprofit organizations like the Red Cross.

Anna Lee

Team Member

Anna is a senior at Vernon Hills High School in Illinois. She loves working with kids both on zoom and in person as a Golf Assistant Coach. At school she is a part of the Future Medical Professional Association, Student Council, and National Honors Society. During her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends at the beach and plays golf competitively in and out of high school.

The Advertising Department is the voice of Connect Me, spreading awareness of our services far and wide. Through strategic campaigns and creative initiatives, this team ensures that those in need of our support know where to turn for free tutoring and mentoring opportunities.

Hasini Anand is a sophomore in high school who joined Connect Me as a way to reach her community and make a greater impact. Outside of Connect Me, she's very involved with her school community through clubs like Student Government and National Honor Society. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, painting and reading.

Kate Snowdon is a freshman at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. In her free time, she enjoys playing chess and guitar.

Visual storytelling and digital engagement are the specialties of our Media Department. From captivating graphics to compelling videos, this team brings our mission to life online, fostering connection and inspiration within our community and beyond.

Aarav Shah

Chair

Aarav Shah is a student at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He joined Connect Me to make a difference in the community around him. He is studying computer science, and he actively participates in artificial intelligence research. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, hanging out with friends, playing video games, and trying new things!

Mia Lu

Deputy Chair

Mia joined the Connect Me Media Department due to her passion for writing. She hopes she can make a positive impact on readers around the world!

Diksha Lal

Team Member

Diksha is a junior in high school, and she joined Connect Me because of her passion for helping students. She is interested in pursuing a career in psychology or architecture. In her free time, she enjoys going for walks, bike rides, photography, playing tennis, painting, and sketching realism portraits.

Abby is a senior in high school. She's a former preschool assistant teacher and has experience in AP and dual enrollment classes.
