Activities
I am an active member of my schools Baking club and Black Student Union! Being part of the Baking Club and the Black Student Union has been such an amazing experience for me. I love being able to connect with other like-minded people who share my interests and passions. Plus, being part of the Black Student Union has really helped me feel more connected to my culture and community. It's been so rewarding to be part of something bigger than myself and make a positive impact on the world around me.
Awards
Winning the Dalai Lama award last year was an incredible experience. I was so honored to be recognized for my work, especially since I was voted for it out of my entire grade. The Dalai Lama himself is such an inspiring figure, and I really look up to him for his teachings on compassion, peace, and kindness. Receiving this award has been a really meaningful experience for me, and it's inspired me to continue working towards making a difference in the world. Knowing that my peers saw the value in what I was doing and believed in me meant a lot. Being associated with the Dalai Lama in any way is a huge honor, and receiving this award has been a real highlight of my life. It's inspired me to keep working towards making a difference in the world.
